LITTLE VILLAGE KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM
HAVING FUN, HELPING EACH OTHER, WORKING TOGETHER
The kindergarten class at Little Village is hopping! Each day we write, read, problem solve, spend time with books, science and social studies. We have fun, help each other, and work together. There is no better place to be! We have created a curriculum that aligns with the Core Curricular Standards (CCS) that all public schools are using. We welcome students who have missed the cutoff date or for parents who choose to give their children an extra year of kindergarten enrichment. Our day is packed with learning, but students don’t realize how much they are really doing because they are having fun. We have projects and crafts that align with concepts and motor skills. Whenever possible, cross-curricular extensions are included. We have games and videos to enhance learning. The best part is all students are reading words and beginning to read books by the middle of the year!
